Arabian Public Library, AZ

The new Arabian Public Library, formerly located in a shared space with Desert Mountain High School, features expanded collections, public meeting rooms, public access to computers and expanded children’s area with story time room. The new facility also includes group study rooms, a teen space and a coffee bar. The project utilized Demco’s exclusive LibraStack shelving system to deliver additional lighting into the library via two custom lighting systems. One system was built into the shelving canopy, the other system supported via cantilevered light arms.  Along with custom acrylic end panels, popular magazine display and custom mobile slatwall display systems,  Arabian Public Library is an example of the architect and Demco’s in-house design team working in conjunction to adapt product to meet specific project needs.
