San José, Willow Glen Branch, CA

Willow Glen Branch Library is one of the many San José Public Libraries that has transitioned from a large, stationary circulation desk to a smaller, more functional service model.  With the help of Demco designer, Stephen Gower, Willow Glen was able to customize the desk to fit the specific needs of their space, patrons, and staff.  The TechnoLink Desk System incorporates both fixed height and height adjustable work surfaces that range from 25″ to 42″H and can be easily raised or lowered to accommodate the changing staff needs throughout the day.  Custom elements include a modular storage pedestal, removable shelves, drawers, a designated space for the cash register and matching wood finishes.
