San José, Joyce Ellington Branch, CA

Joyce Ellington Branch Library is one of the many San José Public Libraries that has transitioned from a large, stationary circulation desk to a smaller, more functional service model.  With the help of Demco designer, Stephen Gower, Joyce Ellington was able to customize the desk to fit the specific needs of their space, patrons, and staff.  The TechnoLink Desk System incorporates height adjustable work surfaces that range from 25″ to 42″H and can be easily raised or lowered to accommodate the changing staff needs throughout the day.  Featuring removable shelves, drawers, a locking two-drawer pedestal unit, and a work surface cut to fit the footprint of the space and existing printer station, the TechnoLink desk was a perfect fit for the Joyce Ellington Branch Library.
